On November 5 God Himself, the Supreme Soul, in subtle form together with the soul of deceased founder Dada Lekraj, (Brahma Baba), according to Brahma Kumaris belief, addressed more than
20,000 of the white clad faithful once more. This 'combined form' is known by BKs as 'BapDada' (Though ask BK leadership and you get different versions: its a bit of a mystery who is actually there: either or both). Bap means God, and Dada
references the late Dada Lekraj. Hindi dictionary translates Bapdada as ‘ancestor’.
Bapdada spoke in ‘their' customary whisper, returning to the style of communication dating back
some 50 years, a tradition broken only for the last visitation where the ‘presence’ was indistinguishable from the medium of Dadi Gulzar. We spoke to senior media in Madhuban yesterday, who tell us that BapDada did not come on October 12,

the difference between the worldly celebration of Diwali, and the spiritual meaning of Diwali, as per BK understanding, reminding the gathering that Diwali is a memorial of BKs Soul Purity, made manifest in the past Golden Age, and soon again in the
new Golden Age following the Great World Destruction
