BK FLAGSHIP PROJECT HAS MELBOURNE LAUNCH

Villagers have access to fine medical care at GHRC Mt Abu Rajasthan.

Hello dear friends,

I was invited to Melbourne last week to speak at the launch of an Australian support project for the admirable Brahma Kumaris Global Hospital and Research Centre, in Rajasthan, India. The people of the district are not so well served by hospitals...in fact GHRC provides the only CT scanner and dialysis machine regionally available to nearly 2 million people. GHRC is a  creative institution providing quality Allopathic Medicine..but  also full Ayurveda, Homeopathic and Magnet therapy  to local people and visitors from here and there.

Fo myself its most admired projects are the treating of the eye diseases, glaucoma and cataract, cleft palate in children, and adults.. and the hugely popular Village Outreach Program. Eye disease operations cost just $20 each to perform: astonishing to return a persons sight for the price of a Melbourne breakfast is it not?

Anyway, more details as they come to hand.Congratulations to Stephen Berkeley and Dr Mehta and all for bringing such a fine institution to life in Rajasthan..🙂🙂🙂
